What can I make with this stencil?
Tips & technique
The stripes are separate cut-outs and the bridges between them are what hold the cane together, so keep every one of them intact. Painted in a single colour the stripe gaps read as negative space, which looks sharper than attempting red and white in two passes. A row of canes alternating direction along a shelf edge or window sill takes ten minutes and changes a whole room.

Frequently asked questions
How do I paint red and white stripes?
Easiest: paint the whole cane red and let the stripe gaps show your surface colour. For true two-tone, paint red, dry fully, then mask the stripes and add white.
Will this work on glass?
Yes — glass paint or acrylic on a degreased surface. Peel while tacky and cure as the paint instructs before washing.
What size for tree ornaments?
About 25–30% of A4. The hook is distinctive enough that it stays readable when small.
Can I cut this on a Cricut?
Yes, the SVG imports directly. Weed the stripe pieces out and leave the bridges in place.
