Tombstones look right in groups of three or more at slightly different sizes and angles — a single upright stone looks like a mistake. Lean one or two by a few degrees. The RIP letters are the finest cuts on the design, so do them first while the sheet is rigid, and keep the counters of the R and P intact.

How many should I use for a graveyard scene?
Three to five at mixed sizes, some tilted. Keep their bases on a shared line and the scene holds together.
Can I change the lettering?
Not within this stencil, but you can mask the RIP and add your own text with our letter stencils at around 25% scale.
What size?
A4 for garden and door displays, 40% for cards and place settings. The RIP closes up below about 35%.
Will it work on a real gravestone-shaped board?
Yes — cut a board to the outline, then stencil the RIP and crack onto it. A popular porch project.
